Evaluation of the Editing Process

Because we didn't have much previous experience editing, I felt it was here where we felt out toughest challenge, because although we had a clear idea of what we wanted the final product to look like, to actually edit it to look the exact way was difficult. However, I believe that we rose to this challenge and demonstrated excellent team-work skills and dedication when editing the trailer, and took in many considerations.

This includes:
  • Using the correct tone and style of music to match the themes of our movie and also to dictate the pace towards the end when showing our montage of deaths
  • A general increase of speed in our trailer in order to mimic the excitement slowly building up in the eyes of our audience
  • Use of text on screen to create enigma, and also to move along and help narrate the story of our movie without giving too much away
