Pre-lim task

For the pre-lim tasked i have been asked to create a short film with the basis of the film being about a meeting between two individuals.
For this task it is of the utmost importance that I try and show a variety of camera shots and angles, as well as making sure that I use good and appropriate editing techniques in order to show fluidity in my short film.
In addition, for this to all work it is important that I create a good script, location and characterise the characters in the short film well so the meaning, story and overall message is made obvious and effective to anyone watching.

My idea for my film was to show a meeeting between a detective and a 'snitch', with the snitch giving the detective information about a notorious criminal inspired by detective program 'Luther' which i based mine on because it uses a wide variety of camera shots and unconventional portrayal of the detective. Me and my group chose to do this as we thought that we could use a variety of shots and editing techniques to show the big difference in status and power between the two individuals which we hoped would be made apparent in our short film.
